"Connecting to the Forests of the Future" Green Project
08/10/2025

SOIL, meaning "earth" or "soil,"
is a brand that aims to be incorporated into daily life,
just like the "soil" that is essential for nature's activities.
We have grown together with everyone.
With our deepest gratitude,
as an activity to nurture abundant land and nature,
"to connect to the future forest,"
we held a green project for four consecutive months from March 2025.
A portion of the sales from purchases made during the period
was donated to the general incorporated association more trees.
As those involved in fashion and apparel,
which are deeply connected to nature and culture around the world,
preserving rich forests and the global environment is not someone else's problem.
We hope this donation will be a small step toward a future
where forests and people can continue to coexist.
About "more trees"

The general incorporated association more trees is a forest conservation organization
founded by musician Ryuichi Sakamoto and headed by architect Kengo Kuma.
To address the critical situation of accelerating deforestation and global warming,
it was established in 2007 by five initiators—Ryuichi Sakamoto, Haruomi Hosono, Yukihiro Takahashi, Shinichi Nakazawa, and Moichi Kuwahara—
along with over 100賛同人 (supporters).
In addition to forest conservation activities conducted in collaboration with local communities in 24 locations both domestically and internationally,
more trees also plans and develops products and services utilizing domestic timber, and disseminates information and the appeal of forests through seminars and events.
With the keyword "connecting cities and forests," it undertakes various initiatives aimed at realizing "a society where forests and people coexist permanently."
