The name "HARROW TOWN STORES" comes from a workwear factory established in 1930 that supplied uniforms and work clothes for school staff to prestigious schools in London such as HARROW SCHOOL, JOHN LYON SCHOOL, and ST. HELEN'S SCHOOL.
Britain, which pioneered the steam engine and other innovations in the 19th century, produced workwear that supported the Industrial Revolution. This workwear is unadorned and possesses a traditional feel, befitting a nation of gentlemen.
Just as France is known for its stylish and sophisticated impression, and Germany for its strong image of practicality and durability, each country has its own unique designs, details, and materials, underpinned by a long history of functional beauty.
We reconstruct the worldview of European work and military wear as a base, proposing clothing that can be easily incorporated into everyday life.
