This display mat is made using "saki-ami" (rag weaving) with fabric scraps generated during the production of "maison de soil" clothing.
"Saki-ami" is a traditional Japanese technique where fabric is torn into strips and used as knitting yarn, then hand-knitted one by one like a textile.
This particular mat utilizes fabrics from both the "80'S COTTON VOILE MEDIUM FLOWER BLOCK PRINT" series and another "80'S COTTON VOILE MEDIUM FLOWER BLOCK PRINT" series, which were part of "maison de soil's" collections.
It's a display mat characterized by a floral pattern that resembles a unique design created by the saki-ami technique.
This versatile mat can be used freely, whether for placing small items or displaying flower vases and objects.
*Due to the use of fabric scraps, there will be individual differences in color and size.
*Returns for this product are not accepted due to customer reasons.
