Made from a thin, soft-to-the-touch fabric woven with 100% organic cotton fine-count yarn, this dress features a small square block print pattern throughout, with subtle small flowers scattered in places.
"Block printing" is a traditional technique inherited from ancient times in the village of AJRAK in Gujarat, India. It involves pressing hand-carved wooden blocks onto fabric to create prints. There may be some slight misalignments or unevenness, but please enjoy these as part of the unique charm of a handmade item.
The front and back bodices feature delicate pintucks, characteristic of maison de soil, giving it an elegant look.
Additionally, there are pockets on both sides of the waist.
