of this timeless item that continues to be loved
regardless of trends.
The official name for "HEAT QUILT" is
『 Ultrasonic Quilting 』
It is a quilting technique that uses ultrasonic heat bonding
to join 4-5 layers of fabric—outer, lining, padding, and interlining—without stitching.
ARMEN planned outerwear using this quilting technology,
and it was first introduced in Japan.
The polyester, fleece, and padding used in the quilting fabric
are produced in the Czech Republic, Spain, and Belgium, respectively.
Factories equipped with this quilting technology are limited,
so the outer fabric, lining, and padding are gathered at a specialized quilting factory in Poland,
where they undergo ultrasonic heat-bonding to become a single quilted fabric.
Products made with ultrasonic quilting
eliminate concerns about thread breakage common with stitched quilted fabrics,
and also reduce bulkiness caused by stitches.
The quilted fabric is then sent to another factory in Poland,
where it undergoes cutting and sewing to finally be tailored into a single piece of outerwear.
Materials that have traveled across Europe,
undergo numerous processes and effort to become ARMEN HEAT QUILT and arrive in Japan.
Each step of this process reflects our passion for craftsmanship.

ARMEN was founded in 1948 in Quimper, Brittany, Western France,
as a factory producing school uniforms and workwear.
Its name is derived from
the lighthouse "Ar-Men" which has continued to ensure the safety of ships.
Since its establishment, ARMEN has aimed to create workwear
that can withstand harsh environments, much like a lighthouse.
With a belief in cherishing the world and atmosphere of its origin, "French Workwear,"
the brand offers a variety of items.

How to Order

Returns and Exchanges
- Products for which 8 days or more have passed since arrival
